CMI's compact aluminum block is small and strong with a large capacity and robust design. Knurled knob for easy push and turn opening. Orange alloy sideplates, a 3-inch aluminum sheave, bronze bushing, and stainless steel axle. Proudly made and manufactured in the USA. Boasting an MBS of 51,000 lbs., this small workhorse weighs in at only 2 lbs., 15 oz. With a screw locking sideplate, and smooth rounded cheeks, this rigging block is sure to become a favorite.
Yale’s Chook Composite Winch Hook

Yale Cordage's Ultrex winch line is a favorite of arborists around the world. Amazingly strong and easy to use, it now comes with the new Yale Chook. The Chook is a one-of-a-kind innovation from Yale Cordage that was created to replace traditional steel hardware, creating an easy-to-use, fully non-metallic system. The spliced-in Chook is made of a high-strength chippable material that is strong enough to do the job, but will save you money in costly repairs when the unfortunate happens and your device makes its way into the chipper.
Yale’s Optimus 12 Strand Hollow Braid
(high resistance to abrasion)
Optimus is a 100 percent high tenacity polyester 12 strand single braid. Optimus is a great all-around rope which enjoys a multitude of Arborists uses; pruner cords, adjustable slings and spider legs to name a few.
This rope supplies the toughness of tree grade Maxijacket coatings which can supply up to 8 times the abrasion resistance of uncoated rope. The rope is a snap to splice, has a great strength to weight ratio, and low stretch. It is also weather and UV resistant, and the color will stay bright. Optimus boasts greater breaking strength than Yalex, with premium spliceability. ½” is hi-viz green, 5/8” orange, and ¾” blue. We are excited to offer all of our 12 strand slings in optimus rigging lines.
