So, yes, clear Alturnamats are just as good and they have the same limited lifetime warranty. Limited warranty, as always, means that there is a warranty against defective product and does not apply if the Alturnamat is used wrong. In many years of selling Alturnamats we have yet to have even one defective mat. In fact I don't recall any case of the quality even being questioned. It is, after all, just a really tough piece of 'plastic'. Bend it around like a hoagie roll and you'll still straighten it out and use it like nothing ever happened.

It bears repeating here that a clear Alturnamat is not a 'see through' Alturnamat. It appears more white than clear. You can see through a clear sandwich bag but you can't see through a 1/2" stack of clear bags. Same deal here. Light travels through them so grass survives longer under the mat - and that is the most common reason for buying a clear mat.
