The Rover XC FS1200 is ideal for those who want a compact spreader but need more granular capacity and who would rather not hassle with pushing around a cumbersome push spreader. This spreader provides excellent handling, even on sloped turf and has components that resist the corrosive effects of granular chemicals. The Rover XC has a 200-pound hopper capacity to cover more area efficiently. Equipped with a rotary broadcast style spreader wheel, it is capable of spreading granular material in a 14' wide pattern.
A low-friction sulky pivots on a 3/4" tapered roller bearing for smooth movement. No mechanical steering assistance is required. It also fits easily through a 36" gate, providing access to residential areas and condominium common areas. It is equipped with a 5 horsepower Honda GX160 motor along with a Peerless 855 series hydrostatic transmission. This combination allows the spreader to reach speeds of up 5mph.
