There is a learning curve to operating a GeoRipper. This doesn't mean it is hard to operate right out of the box, but it does mean that you have to get used to it. The hardest thing to get used to is not over-throttling the machine. The GeoRipper works best at 1/2 to 3/4 throttle. Once you are used to handling GeoRipper, running at less throttle is easier.

The GeoRipper®T/A S Series is a bolt-on/bolt-off trenching attachment on the Stihl TS420 engine. It has a maximum of a 20" digging depth, and a starting standard digging width of about 2". It features a new safety bar and dirt deflection system to keep the soil on the ground and fingers away from moving parts.

GeoRipper® minitrenchers are engineered for industrial performance but with less weight starting at only 35 lbs. GeoRipper®T/A S Series provides a compact and efficient digging solution for irrigation, root barriers, landscape lighting, and other pipe and wire installations.
