Overview

The Malco SideSwiper Siding Removal Tool (SRT2) is designed for vinyl siding removal and reinstallation applications requiring precise, non-destructive disengagement of interlocked siding panels.

Technical Features

• One-piece heat-treated spring steel construction: Eliminates joints and weld points, producing a virtually indestructible tool body with long service life.
• Angled blade offset from the handle's bottom plane: Allows the user to maintain a straight wrist position while keeping knuckles elevated well above the work surface, reducing strain during repetitive use.
• Burr-free hook with finished and plated blade surface: Prevents the hook from cutting into vinyl material or producing shavings, protecting the siding panel during removal.
• Offset blade tip geometry: Designed so the tip will not hang up in the material during the unlocking motion, enabling a smooth, controlled disengagement stroke.
• Non-slip textured handle grip via plastisol dip process: The form-fitting grip is bonded for the life of the tool and resists becoming slick from moisture, maintaining control in wet job-site conditions.
