The use of a blower door rental to test for air infiltration is the same as testing the house while a 40 MPH wind is blowing against it at all angles. Using the blower door in conjunction with checking for drafts by windows, doors, basements, attics and other suspect areas will usually be adequate. Sometimes referred to as a house blower tester.
