It is very fuel efficient, running up to 14 hrs on 4.5 gallons of gas. It also has a battery powered electric start. The voltage selector switch allows you to choose between using both 120 and 240 volts or 120 volts only. This allows for the total generator output to be available through any of the 120 volt outlets, which enables you to power units with larger wattage requirements.
