Electric HVLP finish paint sprayer with pump

PAINTELHVLP

Rental Item Details

The easy to use Graco FinishPro HVLP 9.5 is the perfect choice for small paint spraying jobs, cabinets, trim, etc...  The paint cup attached directly to the paint spray gun allows for small batch of paint to be sprayed directly through the gun so that it is not wasted in a hose.

Even though the canister is attached to the paint gun, it can still be used to spray in any position.  An air supply to the bottom of the cup helps to pressure the cup and push paint into the sprayer.  The system uses disposable liners which can be purchased from Gap Power.

FAQ

When should I choose this HVLP sprayer instead of an airless paint sprayer?

This is commonly used for: spraying kitchen cabinet doors; finishing interior trim and millwork; painting interior doors; refinishing wooden furniture; and applying smooth lacquers, stains, or clear coats. The HVLP system provides maximum transfer efficiency, minimal overspray, and an ultra-fine, factory-smooth finish with minimal material waste. For broad wall surfaces, exterior siding, or large fences, an airless paint sprayer is the better choice because it delivers much higher volume and faster coverage.

What accessories or consumables do I need when renting this sprayer?

The system utilizes disposable cup liners that fit inside the pressurized canister for easy color changes and cleanup, which can be purchased directly from Gap Power. You should also pick up fine paint strainers to filter debris out of your finish before pouring, along with the correct cleaning solvent (water for latex, mineral spirits or lacquer thinner for solvent-borne finishes).

Can I spray at angles or overhead with the paint cup attached to the gun?

Yes. An integrated air line pressurizes the canister from the turbine, actively pushing material into the fluid passage regardless of the gun angle. This allows you to spray upside down, under cabinet soffits, or along low baseboards without the gun starving or sputtering.

What electrical setup is required to run the HVLP turbine?

The electric turbine operates on standard 120V household electricity. To maintain maximum turbine speed and consistent air atomization, plug into a dedicated 15-amp or 20-amp circuit and avoid long, light-duty extension cords; if an extension cord is necessary, use a heavy-gauge (12 AWG) cord under 50 feet.
