This rental is a simple tone generator and a receiver to pinpoint breaks in an invisible dog fence wire.

To use this wire break detector rental...

1. Attach the red lead of the tone generator to the wire and ground the black lead.

2. Follow the line by swinging the receiver back and forth over the wire. You will hear a "null" zone (quiet spot) as the receiver passes directly over the wire.

3. As you near the break, the receiver will emit a solid signal with no null zone. When you pass the break, the sound will stop or become almost inaudible.
