The MSA Altair 5X monitors combustible/flammable gases, oxygen, carbon monoxide, and hydrogen sulfide. The detector calculates and monitors time weighted allowances and short term exposure limits, and alarms when those thresholds are exceeded. This detector will help you comply with OSHA confined space requirements as well as any other application that requires air monitoring. The rental includes a probe w/ 10' sampling line to allow the user to obtain readings without entering a space, or pinpoint a source of a hazardous gas. Gap Power calibrates this detector after every use, so it is ready for use and accurate for your job. Run time of this unit when fully charged is 17 hours.
