The Plug Taps feature long-lasting laser-etched sizing for the clearest markings and include a protective Black Oxide coating for corrosion resistance. The square shank is compatible with all standard tap handles or tap wrenches and is designed for through-hole threading. Engineered for durability, the MILWAUKEE® Straight Flute Plug Taps are designed for cutting threads in the most common metal applications including brass, aluminum, mild steel, and more. For best results, use Plug Taps with cutting fluid.
