The MILWAUKEE® Straight Flute Plug Tap & Drill Bit sets include a precision machined Plug Tap for creating or repairing clean, accurate (internal) threads, as well as the corresponding drill bit for piloting. The Plug Taps feature long-lasting laser-etched sizing for the clearest markings and include a protective Black Oxide coating for corrosion resistance. The Plug Taps square shank is compatible with all standard tap handles or tap wrenches and is designed for through-hole threading. Engineered for durability, MILWAUKEE® Straight Flute Plug Taps are designed for cutting threads in the most common metal applications including brass, aluminum, mild steel, and more. The accompanying drill bit is designed for use with drill drivers. For best results, use Plug Taps with cutting fluid.
