Lamar 14K deckover flat deck trailer. ***Vehicle must be rated to haul a 14,000lb GVWR Trailer*** Requires the tow vehicle to have an electric brake controller and frame mounted hitch. Tow safely, rent this trailer for tractors, stand on skidloaders, small skidloaders, attachments etc. Sometimes referred to as a flatbed (flat bed) trailer, 24ft flatbed car trailer, 14 k trailer, 14000 lb platform trailer, or 14000lb top deck trailer.
Brake Controller Required. Gap Power rents trailers by the 1/2 day and longer.
Very useful as a car or auto hauler & for those loads requiring a bit more weight capacity than a utility trailer.
Requirements for the 14,000lb GVWR trailer
- Requires a combination license on the vehicle that is pulling it. The GVWR of the truck and the GVWR of trailer combined has to match the combination license rating on the vehicle pulling it.
- (Example: 2022 F250 pickup GVWR of 11,400 lb with a combination license of 25,400 lb would be able to rent the trailer)
- (Example: 2022 F350 dually GVWR of 14,000 lb with a combination license of 26,000 lb would not be able to rent the trailer) (adding GVWR of trailer and truck would be 28,000 lb)
- If the driver has a Class A license then the combination license requirements on the vehicle are no longer needed.
- (Example: 2022 F-450 pickup with a GVWR of 14,000 lb and the 14,000 lb trailer does not require a combination license on the vehicle. The gross of either the truck or trailer cannot exceed the GVWR of what it is rated for)
