Custom Building Products SimpleSet Mortar Thinset Premix Gray (CTTSG1-2) is designed for interior wall and floor tile installations as a no-mix, no-mess alternative to traditional thin-set mortars.

Technical Features

• Premixed, ready-to-use formula: Requires no mixing or measuring on-site, reducing preparation time and minimizing material waste.
• Exceeds ANSI A136.1 Type I: Meets and surpasses industry standards for adhesive performance, providing verified bond strength for demanding installations.
• Covers up to 44 sq ft per gallon: High-yield coverage reduces the number of containers required per project, lowering material cost.
• No additive required: The formulation is complete as supplied, eliminating compatibility concerns associated with separate admixtures.
• Gray colorway: Complements darker tile and stone grout joints, reducing the visual impact of minor grout voids during installation.
• Compatible with tiles up to 15" on one side: Accommodates larger-format tiles beyond the standard 8" x 8" recommended size, though extended dry time applies.

Applications

• Bonding porcelain, ceramic, stone, marble, and granite tile up to 8" x 8" (20 x 20 cm) on interior floors and walls.
• Installation of tiles with one side up to 15" (38 cm) where extended 24-hour dry time is acceptable.
• Commercial and residential interior wall and floor tile installations where a premixed, no-mess adhesive is preferred.
• Use Custom Building Products SimpleSet in white formulation when installing lighter-color stone or tile to avoid pigment bleed-through.
