The split boom cordless string trimmer is made up of two components - the M18 FUEL™ QUIK-LOK™ Power Head and QUIK-LOK™ 16" String Trimmer Attachment. This allows you to quickly swap out attachments from a growing lineup on a single QUIK-LOK™ power head, delivering ultimate versatility and lower ownership costs. The POWERSTATE™ Brushless Motor delivers the power to maintain speed in demanding applications without bogging down. The motor is positioned in the rear of the trimmer to provide the best combination of power, balance, and maneuverability. The motor also has an advanced air-cooling system to sustain demanding applications for longer, increasing productivity. REDLINK PLUS™ intelligence maximizes performance while protecting from overload, overheating, and over-discharge. The advanced electronics package also delivers instant throttle response, 3 speeds, and a variable-speed trigger for enhanced control, giving users the precision needed for more consistent results. The trimmer delivers best-in-class performance when paired with the M18™ REDLITHIUM™ FORGE XC8.0 Battery (Not included). The Easy Load Trimmer Head provides the ability to load up to 25' of trimmer line in under 30 seconds.
