Technical Features
- Blind (Pop) Rivet Design: Tubular rivet body supplied with a mandrel through the center, allowing the fastener to be fully set from one side of the workpiece — eliminating the need for rear access.
- Mandrel-Actuated Expansion: When a rivet tool draws the mandrel into the rivet body, the blind end expands to clamp the joined materials; the mandrel then snaps off flush, producing a clean, secure joint.
- Aluminum Construction: Aluminum material provides a lightweight fastening solution with natural corrosion resistance, suitable for use with aluminum and other compatible substrates.
- 1/4" Diameter Body: Sized to fit a standard 1/4" drilled hole, ensuring consistent, repeatable installation across production or repair workflows.
- 1/16" Grip Range: Optimized for joining materials within a narrow combined thickness, ensuring proper blind-end expansion and clamping force on thin-stack assemblies.
Applications
- Sheet metal fabrication and enclosure assembly where rear access to the joint is restricted or impossible.
- HVAC ductwork, automotive trim panels, and lightweight structural panels requiring a flush, one-sided fastening method.
- General repair and assembly tasks involving aluminum, sheet steel, plastics, or composite panels within the specified grip range.
- Any application requiring a quick, tool-driven permanent fastener without the need for nuts, bolts, or rear-side assistance.
