Stihl Leaf Blowers now rated in Newtons of Force: Side By Side Comparisons

Its been confusing to compare leaf blowers until now.  MPH, CFM, HP, etc = Confusion.  Stihl now rates its leaf blowers in Newtons.  See Pro and Home Models Below.  So what is a Newton of force anyway?

Newton is the force needed to accelerate 1kg of mass at the rate of 1 m/sec 2.

See the Newton number beside each model shown below for easy comparison of one to another.

In non technical terms a Newton is factoring in both the effect of MPH and Cubic feet Per Minute or CFM.  We did variations of that here at Gap Power in the days before Newtons by multiplying MPH with CFM and using that number to compare machines.
